The 2025 Philippine local elections in the Negros Island Region are scheduled to be held on May 12, 2025.
Bacolod

[edit]Incumbent Albee Benitez (Independent) is running for the House of Representatives in Bacolod's lone legislative district.[1] He was elected under PDP–Laban with 61.54% of the vote in 2022.
Benitez endorsed representative Greg Gasataya (Nationalist People's Coalition), who is running against Bacolod vice mayor El Cid Familiaran (Lakas–CMD).[1][2]

Vice Mayor
[edit]Term-limited incumbent El Cid Familiaran (Lakas–CMD) is running for mayor of Bacolod.[1] He was re-elected under the Nacionalista Party with 48.79% of the vote in 2022.
Familiaran endorsed Bacolod councilor Enoy Novero (Independent), who is running against Bacolod councilor Kalaw Puentevella (Nationalist People's Coalition).[1][2]

Sagarbarria is running against former Negros Oriental governor Pryde Henry Teves (Liberal Party) and four other candidates.[12][13]
