MGM Osaka (MGM大阪) is a planned integrated resort developed by MGM Resorts International to be built on Yumeshima island in Osaka, Japan. Construction is expected to commence in April 2025. [1]

History

Construction on the resort is set to begin in April of 2025 and is expected to open by 2030. [2] The resort is also expected to have a rail link built via an extension of the Nara Line which will connect it to the rest of Osaka. [3]

Features

MGM Osaka will feature 2,500 rooms and 730,000 square feet of convention space. The resort will feature the first casino in Japan. [4] A 3,500 seat theater, retail and dining options will also be part of the development. [5]
