Bennett Sings Ellington: Hot & Cool is an album by Tony Bennett, released in 1999 to commemorate the centenary of Duke Ellington's birth.[2]
On November 8, 2011, Sony Music Distribution included the CD in a box set entitled The Complete Collection.[3]
At the 42nd Grammy Awards, the album won Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album. This was his sixth award in this category. He would go on to win another eight. He holds the record for most awards (14) and most nominations (17) in the Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album.
